Super Ninja Fruit Fly Trap

Fruit flies do not disappear on their own. Put this trap next to the fruit bowl or the bin and the flies come to it themselves. Once inside the bottle, they cannot get back out.

How to place it

Twist off the cap, peel off the sticker and fix the trap to a flat surface within a metre of the source. Do not shake it, do not top it up and do not rinse it. Once the bottle is full or the 30 days are up, replace it.

Does it smell?

Up close you will smell vinegar. That is exactly what draws the flies in, so it is meant to. Put it by the source rather than in the middle of the dining table.

Does it work on fungus gnats?

No. If the flies rise up out of the potting soil of your houseplants, they are fungus gnats and you need the yellow sticky traps. If they are around fruit, the bin or the drain, this is the right trap.

Also deal with the cause: throw out overripe fruit, empty the bin and flush the drain. The trap catches the adult flies, you remove the source.
