Holes in wool or cashmere do not come from the moths you see flying, but from their larvae. This trap lures the males away with a pheromone, so the females stay unfertilised and no new larvae appear.

How to use it

Fold the trap open, peel off the backing paper and hang or lay it in the wardrobe, drawer or garment bag. One trap per wardrobe is enough. Replace it after four months even if it is not full, because by then the pheromone is spent.

I am not catching anything, does it work?

An empty trap can mean two things. Either you have no clothes moths, or you are dealing with food moths. Those go for your pantry rather than your clothes and do not respond to this pheromone.

What about the larvae already there?

The trap stops reproduction but does not reach existing larvae. Wash affected textiles at 60 degrees or put them in the freezer for 72 hours, and vacuum shelves and seams thoroughly.
