How to use it

  1. On exposed skin

    Spray only onto exposed parts of the body and spread the liquid evenly with your hand.

  2. Do not spray on the face

    Do not spray directly on the face and not in or around the eyes.

  3. Children

    For children under 12, an adult applies the spray, not on the hands. Do not use under 1 year of age.

  4. Reapply

    Reapply after swimming or heavy sweating. Up to 3 times a day for adults, 2 times for children, once a day for toddlers from 1 year.

Super Ninja Mosquito and Tick Repellent is a skin spray with 20% IR3535 for adults and children from 1 year. You apply it to exposed skin; it is for use against mosquitoes and ticks. Available as 1 bottle or a set of 2 bottles of 100 ml.

From what age can the mosquito spray be used?
From 1 year. For children under 12, an adult applies the spray, and not on the child's hands.

How often a day can I use the spray?
Up to 3 times a day for adults, 2 times for children and once a day for toddlers from 1 year. Reapply after swimming or heavy sweating.

Can I use the spray on my face?
Not directly: do not spray on the face and not in or around the eyes.

What should I watch out for after applying?
Wash your hands before touching food, and avoid contact between treated skin and food or synthetic fabrics.

How long does the spray protect you?
As long as the label says: reapply after swimming or heavy sweating, and do not use it more often a day than the label allows for your age group.

Is there DEET in the spray?
No. The active substance is IR3535, 20%. The spray contains no DEET.

What does the spray not do?

Does the spray protect against ticks?
Yes. The spray is for use against mosquitoes and ticks. The label gives a protection time for mosquitoes only, so we do not give one for ticks. Apply it to exposed skin and still check yourself for ticks after being outdoors. More in our guide to ticks in the UK and how to avoid tick bites.

Does the spray remove or kill ticks?
No. The spray keeps ticks off the skin you apply it to; it does not kill ticks and does not remove a tick that is already attached.
